The 80's were the best, not only in Brazil but worldwide.
Everything was kind of platonic. The love of skateboarding was still innocent.
We had several North American and Brazilian influences.
São Paulo was a awe BOOM.

I admire the U.S. but we were in 80 americans with brazilian identity. Big Brazilian skaters emerged, the marks were national, the national arts, national periodicals, national rock bands and hip hop. Today everything was lost. Globalization was great on one hand and bad on the other. Today not give more value to us.
In 80 we admired the americans but without leaving our roots.
Now we are brazilians with north american identity. No good for our spirit!
